Gohan's mixups are also pretty weak when they are not off of a knockdown, as his only real ground overhead is his Slashing Kick, which is very unsafe on block and has a considerable amount of startup. While Gohan has a very strong offense, his stagger game is quite weak, which makes him have to rely on his footsies game or his one shot mixups, unless he has 2 bars of meter. Much like any character in a fighting game, Gohan is not without his faults. The move also has enough hitstun for Gohan to either start or extend a combo. One way Gohan can easily confirm into his combos is with his Lvl 2 Masenko, due to it being an unblockable, making it one of the best supers in the game. Gohan sports a very high damage output, having the highest meterless combo damage out of the whole cast, being able to take out close to 50% of the opponent’s health with no meter with his Rising Hurricane loops and his ground bounce combos. Gohan has, without a doubt, the best mobility in Hyper Dragon Ball Z, being able to do two air dashes in the air, air dashing in multiple directions and having a backdash that teleports him to the air. Gohan in Hyper Dragon Ball Z is a mix of both rushdown and footsies. However, if you wish, you can have them on your roster. At first, he was going to be share Goku's animations though, later, Gohan was instead drawn from the ground up to be his own character. If you downloaded Hyper Dragon Ball Z, meybe you know there are 2 hidden characters in chars folder - SSGSS Goku (in-game as Cyan Goku) and SSGSS Vegeta (Cyan Vegeta).
